Based in Lytham St. Annes in the UK, Martyn Pearson creates highly individual portrait imagery. Martyn's work takes him traveling throughout the UK with past clients as far afield as Switzerland in Europe, and California and Texas in the United States.

Martyn has a relaxed manner resulting in sensitive, quiet photographs of the people you love. His aim is to create completely unique and individual work that reflects the personalities of the clients involved. Martyn does not follow current fads or trends and his style is entirely his own. Give him creative freedom and your trust and, in return, he will create imagery that you love and which will stand the test of time.

Using the best in bespoke framing and bookbinding, Martyn strives for simple but excellent standards in his finished pieces.

Your Sitting

Portrait sessions usually take place at your home or at a location that is significant to you. Depending upon those involved the sitting can be as short as half an hour or as long as two hours. Martyn will take a broad range of photographs for you to choose from.

Sessions involving babies or small children will need extra patience. Think about time of day and baby's routine. Dress your child in simple, classic clothing avoiding too many frills or motifs to ensure a look that is timeless and allows the viewer to look beyond the 'wrapping' and into the heart of your child. This is sound advice for the older child too. If unsure, ask for advice.

Martyn charges a sitting fee of £50 which is redeemable against your first purchase.

Your Viewing

A few days after your sitting you will be invited to a slide show presentation of your photographs. There is no obligation and there will be no hard sell, but in our experience, our clients purchase more than one image and many invest in a 'collection' - a combination of several pieces that represents great value for money.
